Hunting the Missouri Ozarks!
Picture above on the left side is my Uncle Alvin holding his dog, BoBo and then I'm holding two of my dogs, Lance and Scooby. We're pictured with our take of 2005-2006 coon hides.
I live in the Southern part of the Ozarks and have several Mountain Curs. My dogs can run loose and I go hunting about everyday that I can! My Grandpa and Uncle both have Mtn. Curs and go hunting with me also. I raise a few litters each year and I have started dogs for sale from time to time also. I like to squirrel and coon hunt and my dogs do both! I've been in two competition hunts and took a second in my first hunt and a first in my second hunt. I was hunting my brindle dog, Smith's Mtn. Lance. He is well on his way to being a NKC Squirrel Champion! We're pictured below on May 27, 2006. I'm proud as I can be!
SMITHS MTN CURS
I had a successful hunt at the Show Me Cur and Feist NKC hunt in Englewood, MO the beginning of June 06. Lance and I won the coon hunt and the morning squirrel hunt, making Lance an NKC SQ Champion now. We did that in three hunts.
We had a good year hunting for 07-08! I'm here with 237 coon hides and 2 bobcats. Check out our photo pages for more good pictures!
